Abstract
1320691 Lift trucks M T CAMPBELL 22 June 1970 [22 March 1969] 15155/69 Heading B8H A fork lift mast 14 is pivoted at 13a to the outer end of a two-section boom 13, 11, which is pivoted on a vehicle chassis 12, and is maintained in an upright position by pivoted links 23-25. The boom section 11 is movable between rearwardly extending and upright positions by a fluid pressure ram (15), Figs. 2, 4 (not shown), and the section 13 is raised and lowered relative to the section 11 by a fluid pressure ram 16. An articulated tie-bar 21 is connected between the boom section 11 and the chasiss 12 to provide additional support for the section 11 in its upright position. The boom may be mounted on a sub-frame which is rotatable about a vertical axis on the vehicle chassis.
