Abstract

1319773 Solar heating appliance G F HILL 19 June 1970 [24 June 1969 16 Sept 1969] 31732/69 and 45565/69 Heading F4U A solar heating appliance for use in enhancing the effect of sunlight comprises a screen formed of flexible material and having at least one surface provided with a reflective coating, the screen being mounted upon a framework for holding the screen at an angle relative to a surface upon which it rests. The framework is capable of varying the angle of the screen such that an area of ground will be subjected to sunrays reflected downwards from the surface of the screen. With use with plants, the screen may be cf an angled nature, such that at night the appliance may be tipped over the plants for protection.
