Abstract
1316565 Multiple chimneys MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO KK 19 May 1971 7378/71 Heading F4J In a chimney stack structure three steel chimneys 1, 2 and 3 are disposed on a foundation 4 and connected together at several levels by horizontal beams 5 and also connected to a central ring 6 enclosing a further chimney 7 so that the latter may slide vertically with respect to the ring. Modifications show four chimneys arranged round a central one (Figs. 2 and 4), three chimneys arranged round two central ones (Fig. 5) and four chimneys also arranged round two central ones (Fig. 6). Further arrangements show six chimneys forming with their connecting beams a hexagonal structure arranged round a central chimney (Figs. 7-9).
