Abstract

1315942 Valves NELES OY 6 Jan 1971 [15 Jan 1970] 633/71 Heading F2V A ball valve comprises an elastic seal 11 which permits tilting of the valve member against one of the sealing rings 8. The operating mechanism may be resiliently attached to the valve body by springs (1), (Fig. 1, not shown), to introduce a bias on the valve member or the bias may operate only when the valve is closed by providing counterweights &c.
