Abstract

1315912 Unwinding apparatus GLANZSTOFF AG 5 Aug 1971 [12 Aug 1970] 36936/71 Heading D1J The counterbalanced flyer 17 carries a plurality of pulleys 19, 21, 29 for guiding the withdrawn wire 4, one of the pulleys 29 being displaceable by the tension in the wire 4. The pulley 29 is displaceable aginst the action of a tension spring 41 to control the effect of a compression spring 14 acting on a brake 13. The brake 13 is carried by the flyer 17 and serves to control the resistance to rotation of the flyer.
