Abstract
1315737 Cooling pistons DAIMLER-BENZ AG 18 Nov 1971 [27 Nov 1970] 53619/71 Heading F2T An internal combustion engine piston 1 has a cooling chamber 5 disposed in its head around an eccentrically located combustion chamber 2, the cooling chamber being in the form of an interrupted ring connected at one end to a coolant inlet bore 6 and at the other end to an outlet bore 7 and the interruption in the ring being located in that region of the head in which the combustion chamber is furthest from the piston periphery.
