Abstract

1315163 Air intake filter CHRYSLER FRANCE 8 Oct 1970 [7 Nov 1969] 47904/70 Heading B1T [Also in Division F1] A tubular body 10 with a fused end wall 12 and a detachable end wall 11 is divided into a chamber containing an annular filter element 15 and an acoustic resonance chamber 20 by a transverse partition 13. The tube 19 connecting the chambers opens within the element 15 substantially opposite the air inlet 14 and at the level of the outlet 18. The element 15 may comprise one or more strips of pleated paper between two perforated strips retained by annular end caps.
