Abstract

1315102 Valve actuator spray button PRECISION VALVE CORP 26 May 1971 [12 June 1970] 17355/71 Heading B2F A spray button for actuating the valve of a pressurised dispenser comprises a body member 10 having a cavity 11 to receive an insert member 20 which has a socket 22 for the valve stem 30 and a product flow passage 25, 26, 27 from the valve stem to the exterior of the insert member, a duct 16, formed by a groove in one member co-operating with the adjacent surface of the other member, leading from the product flow passage to a swirl generator 14 including a swirl chamber, which imparts a swirling motion to the product before discharging it at orifice 12.
