Abstract

1313509 Boilers CAV Ltd 5 Aug 1970 [21 Aug 1969] 41797/69 Heading F4A In a boiler air is supplied to the combustion chamber 18 positioned within the liquid to be heated in a casing 10 by a compressor 23 connected to a turbine 24 driven by exhaust gases. The hot exhaust gases from the combustion chamber 18 pass through pipes 20 in the liquid to collection chamber 21 and thence to the turbine 24. The gases return through pipe 25 to chamber 16 and pass through tubes 17 in the liquid to be heated and through chamber 15 to outlet 27. (For Figure see next page.)
