Abstract

1313051 Charging shaft furnaces SOC ANON DES ANCIENS ETABS PAUL WURTH 27 May 1971 [27 May 1970] 17396/71 Heading F4B A double hopper, double bell charging device for a blast furnace comprises an upper gas-tight chamber 7 containing a rotatable hopper 1 and an electric motor unit 3 for driving the hopper 1. The hopper 1 is supported at its upper end on a slidable sleeve 2 and at its lower end on a wear protection cone 4 through which the hopper is rotatably driven. Raw material inlets 10 to the chamber 7 are provided with sealing devices 11. Specification 1,313,052 is referred to. (For Figure see next page.)
