130,983. Spreekmeester, E. Aug. 5, 1918, [Convention date]. Screw propellers. - In propellers in which each blade is provided with a flanged tip, the tip, which in the example illustrated is a sector of a core but may be of helicoidal or other form, is generated about an axis eccentric to the axis about which the main part of the blade is generated, and the line of intersection of the two surfaces is arranged eccentric to the axis of the propeller. Specifications 9930/91 and 2124/10 are referred to. In the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), propellers of this type are described provided with a second tip of flat or helicoidal shape. Further oppositely - rotating propellers are described, each provided with tips so arranged that radial distance between the sets of tips increases and diminishes during rotation; the same effect is obtained by fixing the inner ring. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
