Abstract

1309276 Weighing apparatus DEMAG AG 4 Nov 1970 [7 Nov 1969] 52438/70 Heading G1W [Also in Divisions B3 and F4] Moulds 12 on casting wheels 1 and 2 are filled with molten metal from two furnaces 3 and 4 via channels 6 and 5, an intermediate vessel 8 and a trough 9 which is tiltable so as to discharge into a mould on either wheel 1 or 2. The vessel 8 rests on a weigh bridge 32 which is pivoted at one end on a pedestal 34 and at its other end rests on pressure spring means 36 which may be arranged to control the tapping of the furnaces 3 and 4 so as to maintain a constant weight of metal in the vessel 8.
