Abstract

1308795 Gas distribution systems P KREIS 30 Nov 1970 [2 Dec 1969] 56852/70 Heading F4X A gas supply arrangement comprises a main gas cylinder A and a reserve gas cylinder B each provided with a respective pressure regulator 6, 26 and connected to a consumer pipe 12 by way of pipes 8, 28 and junction piece 10. Non-return valves are incorporated in the unions 3 and 23 between the pressure regulators 6, 26 and the cylinders A, B. The pressure regulator 6 connected to the main cylinder A is set at a higher outlet pressure than the pressure regulator 26 connected to the reserve cylinder, whereby when the main cylinder A is nearly empty the reserve cylinder B will then supply gas to the consumer pipe 12 until the main cylinder is replaced by a fresh one; thus an uninterrupted flow of gas is supplied to the consumer pipe 12. The gas in the cylinders is normally in liquid form and can be used for camping purposes.
