1308578 Supply circuits for discharge lamps THORN ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 28 June 1971 30224/71 Heading H2H [Also in Division H3] A blocking oscillator comprising transistor VT 1 , saturable feedback transformer T 2 and R.C. circuit R 1 , C 1 , has a further transformer T 1 in series therewith whose secondary is used to drive a discharge lamp 25. Diode MR 1 permits the capacitor to discharge when the transistor is non-conductive.
