Abstract

1307771 Mechanical switches SWFSPEZIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 12 Nov 1970 [15 Nov 1969] 53792/70 Heading H1N A switching arrangement for use in a vehicle comprises a direction indicator switch together with another switch for flashing all the indicator lamps to give a warning mounted in a housing adapted to be mounted on the steering column of the vehicle, the other switch comprising a bi-stable push button switch with one or more lamps in its push button connectable to provide illumination of the device and indication that the warning switch is on. If only one lamp is provided (Fig. 3, not shown) it is energized, while the vehicle driving lights are on, only while the warning switch is off so it illuminates the device steadily unless the warning switch is on when it flashes. If two lamps are fitted (Fig. 2, not shown) one is illuminated steadily while the other flashes only when the warning switch is on.
