Abstract

1307078 Machine safety device PRICE MACHINE GUARDS Ltd 27 April 1971 [10 April 1970] 17033/70 Heading F2J To the ends of an operating beam 14 of an upstroke press brake are secured light sources 20 and corresponding photo-electric cells at the other end providing a light curtain the interruption of which stops the press. Slotted brackets 24 allow adjustment of the screen and microswitches 30 actuated as the beam 14 moves may render the screen inoperative or partially inoperative during certain parts of the beam's traverse.
