1306967 Measuring resistance digitally SOC D'INSTRUMENTATION SCHLUMBERGER 26 May 1970 [28 May 1969 5 Dec 1969] 25197/70 Heading G1U [Also in Division G4] An analogue value representative of the value of a resistance 60 is obtained by means of operational amplifiers 11 and 58, and is used as the input to a dual ramp analogue to digital voltmeter (see Division G4). The value Vx, is given by the formula V x = -R x .I.R 1 /R 2 where I is the current supplied to differential amplifier 58, R 1 is the value of resistor 64 and R 2 is the value of resistor 62, R x is the volume of resistor 60, which is to be measured.
