Abstract

1306924 Cleansing compositions containing perfumes CHAS ZIMMERMANN & CO Ltd 12 May 1970 [19 Feb 1969] 9006/69 Heading C5D [Also in Division A5] Free-flowing powder perfume concentrates comprise a perfume oil and a particulate absorbent substrate comprising silica preferably a mixture, e.g. of equal parts by weight, of finely divided silica and finely divided silica gel. The concentrate may comprise at least 20% by weight of a perfume oil such as an essential oil and/or a derivative thereof, i.e. a volatile plant oil, e.g. lavender oil; a synthetic or artificial oil, e.g. artificial Neroli oil; a natural odoriferous resin, e.g. gum opopanaz; a natural animal extract, e.g. civet; or a synthetic chemical, e.g. geraniol, and a natural absolute and extract, e.g. absolute jasmin. The powdered perfume concentrates may be added to solid dry product such as bath crystals and cubes, detergent and soap powders, toilet deodorizers, talcum powders, cosmetics, e.g. face powders, scouring powders, "dry" aerosols, lavatory cleaners, foot powders, and insecticidal and germicidal powder preparations.
