Abstract

1306885 Breakwaters ALLENDORFER FABRIK FUER STAHLVERABEITUNG ING HERBERT PANNE KG 19 April 1971 [21 March 1970] 24905/71 Heading E1H A harbour enclosing wall is formed from spaced vertical, A-shaped or inverted V-shaped steel or concrete posts 1, 1', inclined galvanised steel gratings 2 which act as wave breaking members being mounted between the spaced posts. When vertical posts are used (Figs. 3 and 4 not shown) the gratings are mounted on triangular lattice work or sheet metal brackets carried by the posts and secondary horizontal lattice, or perforated plate gratings (3) are mounted below the inclined gratings. A gangway is provided on top of the wall.
