1306740 Biocides containing mercaptopyridine-1-oxide OLIN CORP 23 Oct 1970 50580/70 Heading A5E A synergistic biocidal composition comprises an alkali metal salt of 2-mercaptopyridine-1-oxide (optionally substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or halogen), a water-soluble borate (e.g. borax) and a brominated solicylanilide. The compositions find application in cements, soaps and polishes.
