Abstract

1306095 Feeding sheets ADDRESSOGRAPH MULTIGRAPH CORP 20 April 1970 [21 April 1969] 18800/70 Heading B8R Sheets fed to a lithographic duplicating machine over guides 20, Figs. 1 and 2, pass under smoothing blades 32, 34, the sheets, which curl upwards at their edges parallel to feed direction, being uncurled thereby. The blades extend in feed direction from free ends near the centre line of the sheets to ends adjustable on a support bar 26 and near the sheet edges. The support bar causes guide strips 47, 48 to maintain the sheets flat. The sheets are fed manually up to front stops 46, and then, when the stops are raised by a rock shaft 40 which also lowers rollers 38, fed by a feed roller 36 to the cylinder clamp 50 of the machine.
