Abstract
1304065 Electro-photography XEROX CORP 30 June 1970 [3 July 1969] 31608/70 Heading G2H A two component developer flows through a developement zone between a xerographic drum, bearing a positive charge image and rotating in the direction opposite to flow, and a multi-component developement electrode of decreasing potential in the direction of flow. The main component 85 of the electrode has a potential between that of the image and non-image areas (e.g. 50-150 volts greater than the non-image areas) and a notch 85 having an included angle of 120 degrees andpositioned 10-20 degreesbelow the horizontal centre line of the drum, which redirects the developer on to the surface of the drum.
