Abstract

1303871 Electro-photography RICOH K K 9 Feb 1970 [8 Feb 1969 10 Feb 1969] 6113/70 Heading G2H A liquid developer comprises an insulating liquid carrier and a dispersed toner formed by (a) coating a pigment or dye with a natural or synthetic rubber and (b) graft polymerising a polymerlsable ethylenically unsaturated monomer on to the coating. The coating agent may be acrylic, styrene-butadiene, butylene or styrene rubber. The toner may have a particle size of 1-5 micron. Examples are given.
