Abstract
1303412 Spectrophosphorimeter POLSKA AKADEMIA NAUK INSTYTUT CHEMII FIZYCZNEJ 26 Feb 1971 5621/71 Heading G2J A spectrophosphorimeter wherein a solid or fluid is subjected to an exciting ray, and the phosphorescence investigated has a prismatic or mirror system which is rotatable which scans the exciting beam across the sample and also directs the phosphescent beam to the detector. Preferably, the exciting beam is directed at the bottom of a cell containing the sample. The position at which the exciting light is directed, and the position at which phosphorescence is measured must not overlap. The scanning may be around a circular path. The prismatic system may be a Dove prism, or the mirror system may be a roof-section mirror.
