Abstract
1302980 Nickel-base alloy SPECIAL METALS CORP 16 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 33493/71 Heading C7A A nickel-base alloy comprises, in weight per cent:- the balance being nickel; the total aluminium and titanium content should be at least 3À6% with the titanium to aluminium ratio being at most 2À0; the niobium may be replaced in whole or in part by hafnium or tantalum, one part of niobium being replaced by two parts of hafnium or tantalum. The alloy is particularly suited for turbine application, e.g. discs, and also as sheet material or fastener stock.
