Abstract

1299886 Feeding and delivering sheets ALPA STEEL & PLASTIC Ltd 1 June 1970 [6 June 1969] 28631/69 Heading B8R A device for receiving zig-zag stationery 2, Fig. 1, from a computer terminal unit 2 comprises a support structure formed of a base 3, Figs. 1, 2 and 3, and vertical tube members 4 bent over at 5 at 15 degrees to the horizontal to support a shoot 6 with a central rib 7, whereby the stationery is advanced along the shoot and down into a container 9 on the support and having end walls 11, 12. Two strips of stationery are delivered side by side. The base 3 carries a metal sheet 13 to support two piles of similar stationery for feeding into the unit 2. Lugs 16 carry horizontal arms 17, 18, the longer 18 of which has an extension 19 spring-urged outwards and carrying a bifurcated member 20 which, and the end of the arm 17, engage the unit 2 to locate the device.
