1299685 Shaft seals V GALLINO & C SpA 19 April 1971 [17 Feb 1970] 24453/71 Heading F2B The casing 3 of a spring-pressed resilient sealing lip is provided at one or each of its ends with a rigid annular flange 7 which serves as a shaft support to protect the sealing lip during assembly and upon eccentric or radial displacements of the shaft during use, the flange being rounded and bent away from the sealing lip.
