Abstract

1299461 Abrading SWECO Inc 18 May 1970 [19 May 1969] 23868/70 Heading B3D [Also in Division B8] The subject-matter of the present Specification is included in that of Specification 1,299,462 and the claims are directed to a material handling and treating system comprising a mill having a chamber for receiving material to be operated upon within the chamber, a hoist pan having a movable bottom responsive to movement of the pan into predetermined proximity directly above the mill, to release, in a substantially evenly distributed manner, the material from the pan into the chamber of the mill, and means for supporting and moving the pan and operable to position the pan to receive the material and to position the pan directly above the mill to enable the contents of the pan to be discharged into the chamber of the mill.
