Abstract

1294188 Electromagnetic contactors SQUARE D CO 10 July 1970 [23 July 1969] 33583/70 Heading H1N An electromagnetic contactor generally similar to that described in Specifications 1,294,185, 1,294,186 and 1,294,187 has a bell-crank lever 100 rockable, on a pivot pin 98, due to movement of its actuating arm 184 by the armature (not shown), so that parallel arms 186 move their free ends toward (Direction A) and away from the contactor base 26 and actuate a U-shaped movable contact carrier 132 in which bearing members 210 with springs (234) are received in sockets 156 and are mounted on portions 190 on the free ends 188 of the arms 186.
