1293849 Hosiery WOLSEY Ltd 7 May 1971 [9 May 1970] 22539/70 Heading D1K Hosiery footwear has its leg and foot, foot or sole of float or miss stitch structure in which an absorbent yarn forms the major part of the inner face, and a wear resistant yarn presents a substantial part of the outer face. The structure comprises alternate courses of loops of the latter yarn and courses of the former including floats. The absorbent yarn is knitted in spaced wales, which may be staggered from course to course, and floated across the interveening wales.
