Abstract

1293587 Photographic processing apparatus EASTMAN KODAK CO 6 Nov 1969 [6 Nov 1968] 54484/69 Headings G2A and G2H Processing apparatus having a station at which a bath of liquid is required for a processing operation has a container 1 with walls arranged both to define a liquid storage chamber 15 and to provide at the processing station a tray 2 having a drain hole 12 permitting passage of liquid between the chamber and the tray, and one wall being flexible so as to force a quantity of liquid from the chamber into the tray to provide the bath and for allowing such quantity to return to the chamber upon completion of the processing operation. The bottom wall 16 of the chamber is resiliently flexible and a reciprocable plunger is arranged to cause repeatedly the flexing and to meter the quantity of liquid forced into the tray. An internally threaded dip tube 13 is fitted in the hole 12 and receives a plug 14 to retain the liquid in the chamber during transit. In use the container is slid into guides 17, 18 provided on the apparatus, which apparatus may be a copy machine, microfilm reader-printer or electro-photographic liquid development apparatus.
