Abstract
1291039 Transfer mechanism EBAUCHES ELECTRONIQUES SA 21 June 1971 [7 July 1970] 28921/71 Heading G4D The lower order wheel 1 has a toothed hub 4 meshing with a planet wheel 5 on a carrier 6. A pawl 10 on the carrier has a finger 13 engaging a ratchet wheel 12 and projecting into a slot 14 of the higher order wheel. As the carrier 6 rotates the pawl 10 is rocked against spring action until the finger 13 rides over the tooth of the ratchet wheel when the spring 11 advances it and the higher order wheel rapidly. In a modification, Fig. 3, the pawl and finger are replaced by a leaf spring 15 which engages between studs 16 on the higher order wheel. Reverse movement is prevented by the cam shape of the ratchet wheel 12.
