1289327 Discharging material from silos SCHWABISCHE HUTTENWERKE GmbH 2 Oct 1969 [2 Oct 1968 12 March 1969 25 March 1969] 20057/72 Divided out of 1289326 Heading B8E In a silo discharge apparatus in which a cutter rotor 205, Fig. 1, and a motor for driving it form a separate unit from a conveyer 202, the conveyance volume of the conveyer increases progressively in the direction of conveyance. As described the conveyer channel 201 becomes deeper and wider as it approaches the wall of the silo, the pitch of the screw increases and the screw itself widens along its length. Outside the silo wall the screw is cylindrical and of fixed pitch and the vertical walls of the trough are parallel to each other. Two or more uniformally arranged conveyers may be provided.
