1287961 Sodium hypochlorite solutions JEYES GROUP Ltd 19 April 1971 [6 March 1970] 10836/70 Heading DIP [Also in Division C5] An aqueous sodium hypochlorite solution for use as a presoak in the washing of fabrics contains an alkali metal chromate in quantities of 0.25 to 1% by wt. The solution contains 2 to 11% by wt of available chlorine and the chromate is preferably sodium chromate. The solution may contain a stabilizer for the sodium hypochlorite, particularly an alkali metal heptonate or alkali metal boroheptonate as disclosed in Specification 1282906.
