1287514 Lubricants SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 29 Jan 1970 [31 Jan 1969] 4300/70 Heading C5C [Also in Division C2] A lubricant composition, which may be used as an hydraulic fluid, comprises a major amount of lubricating oil and as an antioxidant a minor amount of a compound of Formula I where each X, which may be the same or different, is oxygen, -NH- or sulphur, and R 1 and R 2 , which may be the same or different, are C 1-9 alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl, C 6-12 aryl or C 7-30 alkaryl, with the proviso that if all the X's are -NH- and/or sulphur R 1 and R 2 may also be C 10-30 alkyl, alkenyl or cycloalkyl. Conventional additives may also be present.
