Abstract

1285451 Clay composition PRODUCT CONSULTANTS Ltd 9 April 1970 [10 Jan 1969] 1622/69 Heading C3N A process for producing an improved bonding material comprises adding, with mixing, a lignosulphonate in powdered form to a hot dry finely-divided clay mineral. Substantially all the particles of the clay mineral are less than 60 microns in size, the average particle size being less than 10 microns. The clay mineral may be a montmorillonite, sepiolite, hydro-mica or kaolin. The bonding material may be used in the compounding of animal feedstuffs.
