Abstract

1285399 Indicating-apparatus CRYPTON-TRIANGLE Ltd 26 May 1971 [30 June 1970] 31630/70 Heading G1J The translucent dial 1 has at least one scale 2 inscribed thereon and a portion 3 illuminated by an elongated member 11 of transparent material with one end adjacent a lamp 13 and the other end resting against the rear surface of the portion 3 of the dial. Several portions e.g. symbols 3 may be illuminated selectively through respective members 11 and lamps 13 and the general illumination of the dial 1 from a lamp 8 and reflector 6 will not have shadows cast thereon by the symbols 3. The dial 1 is a sheet of translucent glass laminate with the scales 2 etched and coloured thereon. A transparent sheet of plastics 4 is secured together with the dial 1 by a frame 5 and both the plastics sheet 4 and reflector 6 of sheet aluminium have holes to fit the members 11 which may be rods or bundles of fibres.
