Abstract
1284693 Camera exposure setting devices PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB 1 Feb 1971 3580/71 Heading G2A In candescent lamps 2, 3 are visible in the view-finder 1 of a camera, the brightness of one of the lamps being adjusted according to scene illumination falling on photo-resistor 19, and the brightness of the other lamp being adjusted during setting of the camera shutter speed by a slider 11 moving over a voltage divider 12 so that upon equal brightnesses of the two lamps the correct exposure is set, wherein a resistance 6 in the power supply circuit may be short circuited by a switch 7 when the camera is set to a short shutter speed, and hence with high scene illumination, so that the luminosity of the lamps 2, 3 corresponds generally with scene illumination. In place of the resistance and switch, an additional light sensitive receiver may control the voltage fed to the control circuit 4. The switch 7 is operated by a cam 8 provided on the shaft 9 of the shutter speed setting member. In a second embodiment, the switch controls an electromagnet which when energized places filters in front of the lamps 2, 3.
