Abstract

1282972 Unloading trucks KNAPSACK AG 16 April 1970 [17 April 1969] 18209/70 Heading B8E [Also in Division C1] An unloading device for removing solidified calcium carbide blocks 24 from a truck 26 comprises an ejector ram 32 and a lifting device 29. In operation the sides 30 of the truck are lifted leaving the block held in position by ram 41 on the base 31 of the truck. The ejector ram forces the block on to hinged platform 44 which may be tilted so that the block slides down shoot 23.
