1281275 Cooker hob guards A S DAVISON 27 April 1971 [29 April 1970] 20508/70 Heading F4W A cooker hob-guard comprises three extensible sections hinged together, the outer sections having extensible retainers and ties being arranged to urge the outer sections towards each other. Each section comprises rails 3, 4, 5 connected to vertical struts to form two panels, slidably fastened together by metal bands 14. An end strut of each front panel 1, 2 is hinged to an end strut of a side panel 20, 30 by a metal strap having rings 12, 13 at either end encircling the struts. Retaining clips 17 have slots engaging the ends of tie rods 19 holding the side members together, and feet 15 may be formed on straps 16 secured face-to-face with the clips 17.
