Abstract

1279136 Monogrammic displays DISCON CORP 9 June 1969 [7 Jan 1969] 28983/69 Heading G5C A monogrammic display is constituted by a plurality of elongate lamps 30 (only one shown) whose filaments are coplanar, a baffle 36 having apertures for receiving the lamps the aperture sides directing or restricting light from the lamps and a printed circuit board 24 adjacent the baffle to which the lamps are connected. As described, there are additional lamps (14), Fig. 1 (not shown), having entire words printed on their envelopes, and pea lamps (32) acting as decimal points. As shown, 44 is an insulator board, P a support panel, 46-52 connectors, and 54 a colour filter and dust shield.
