Abstract
1277905 Electrostatic printing EASTMAN KODAK CO. 26 June 1969 [1 July 1968] 32328/69 Heading B6C Developed colour separation images on photoconductors 10 are transferred in register onto a receiver 13 on a roller 14 which is rotated by a gear 19 through abutting stops 25, 26 and carried linearly by a belt 16. If the speed at which roller 14 is advanced by belt 16 happens to exceed that at which it is moved by gear 19, stops 25 and 26 become disengaged allowing roller 14 to rotate faster and avoiding relative movement between the receiver and photoconductors. A spring 27 realigns roller 14 and gear 19 as they pass between the photoconductors.
