Abstract

1276319 Roller F A KUMPERS 17 July 1969 [31 July 1968] 35963/69 Heading F2U [Also in Division D1] A pair of rollers are each constructed so that the tooth thickness of the teeth of each roller is one half the circumferential spacing of the teeth and the tooth shape is such that there is an included angle of 12 degrees between the radially outer portions of adjacent portions of adjacent teeth, with a smaller included angle between the inner portions of those teeth. The rollers are arranged to be driven at a constant speed and are urged together with a constant force.
