Abstract
1,274,294. Dispersing agent for pesticide emulsions. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN N.V. 10 July, 1969 [13 July, 1968], No. 34758/69. Heading B1V. [Also in Division A5] Dispersing agent compositions for use in making dispersions of pesticides (see Group A5) comprise an animal protein, a hydrophobic dispersing agent and optionally an inert carrier. The protein may be albumin, gelatin, casein, salts of casein. The hydrophobic dispersing agent may be calcium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, hexadecanol and Atlox (R.T.M.). The carrier material may be sodium bicarbonate or kaolin. The dispersions may also contain a non-ionic dispersing agent, for example an adduct of ethylene oxide and an alkyl phenol or a partial ester of sorbitan.
