Abstract
127,395. Hall, S. Dec. 24, 1918. Nuts.-Metal articles subject to centrifugal or radial stresses, such as wheels, fly-wheels, nuts, &c., are reinforced by rings of stranded steel wire embedded in the articles by casting or otherwise. Fig. 1 shows a fly-wheel containing rings a<3>, a<4> of stranded wire. The spokes may be reinforced by pieces a<2> of stranded wire.
