[Also in Divisions F1 and F4] An airtight dispensing container for aerating liquid to be conveyed to an ice-cream freezer 7 is provided with a mixing chamber 10 into which is introduced a liquid aerated by a gas 4 above the liquid, the gas being provided, for example, from a compressed gas source 1, and into which is further introduced through a pipe 15 gas from above the liquid, the amount of gas introduced being regulated by an opening adjustable in size, for example, by a setting device 13 operable from outside the container, the liquid being thereby further aerated by a controlled amount before leaving the container through a tube 9 adapted to be connected to the freezer 7.
