Abstract

1,267,509. Glass cleaning composition. IMPERIAL SMELTING CORP (N.S.C.) Ltd. 22 April, 1969 [5 April, 1968], No. 16518/68. Heading C5D. A composition for removing silicone-containing materials from a glass surface comprises finely divided ceric oxide and an organic detergent. The eerie oxide may contain minor amounts of other rare oxides. The detergentmay be a soap e.g. ammonium or triethanolamine stearate. The composition may be in the form of a paste, cream or aerosol. The propellant for theaerosol may be a chlorofluorohydrocarbon, hexane, butane, nitrous oxide, CO 2 or nitrogen. Isopropyl alcohol and glycerol may be present.
