Abstract

1,267,104. Cleaning metals. STURTEVANT ENG. CO. Ltd. Oct.5, 1970 [Nov.10, 1969], No. 54903/69. Heading C7E. In an apparatus of the kind described in Specification 1, 097, 698 used for degreasing articles in which the container is closed by a lid 11, and is rotated about shafts 5, the container is also rotated or oscillated about a bearing 12. The oscillatory movement being obtained by a cam drive Fig.3 (not shown) instead of the pinions 15, 16. The platform 1 is supported on a bearing 13. Fluid is supplied to the container through passages 8, 9 in the frame.
