Abstract
1,266,120. Electrophotographic material. AGFA-GEVAERT. 22 May, 1969 [10 June, 1968], No. 40148/71. Divided out of 1,258,244. Heading H1K. An electrophotographic material comprises a layer or sheet containing an organic photoconductor and a compound of Formula wherein R 1 +R 2 and R 3 + R 4 represent the atoms necessary to complete fused-on aromatic nuclei and Y is CH 2 or CN 2 . The photoconductor is preferably poly-N-vinylcarbazole or poly(1,2- dihydro-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline) whilst R 1 + R 2 and R 3 + R 4 are preferably butadienylene. A support of Al-paper laminate may be used for the layer or sheet. Many resin binders, plasticizers and supports are specified.
