Abstract
1,265,507. Magnetic contact devices. SIGMA INSTRUMENTS Inc. 5 Nov., 1969 [9 Dec., 1968], No. 54320/69. Heading H1N. A sealed magnetic reed contact device has change-over contact set comprising a magnetic reed 13 co-operating with fixed magnetic contact members 17, 28 of different lengths sealed in the glass envelope 10 at the opposite end to the reed 13. On energization of a surrounding coil the reed 13 disengages the longer member 28 and engages member 19. The movable reed contact end may be cranked (Fig. 2, not shown).
